He also held VP and C-level positions at Amdocs and ECI Telecom (global and public telecommunication enterprises). While managing multi-disciplinary large- and small-scale organizations, Zohar created fast-growth and profitable businesses, bringing innovative solutions and services to the market. He graduated cum laude with a B.Sc. from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and M.Sc. from Tel Aviv University, and was a lecturer at both institutions.

He previously served as VP of R&D at Radware and held leadership roles at KayHut and Cisco, the latter of which he joined via its acquisition of ClassData Networks, focusing on advanced monitoring technologies and cybersecurity solutions. Recognized for his extensive knowledge across all cybersecurity disciplines, Uri possesses deep expertise in software development and architecture. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Ben Gurion University and studied Computer Science at the Open University. What is EnforceAir?
EnforceAir, D-Fend Solutions’ core offering is a high-performance counter-drone system based on the world’s preeminent radio frequency (RF) cyber takeover technology that delivers advanced capabilities with seamless operational flexibility to overcome rogue drone challenges across different sectors, environments, and use cases. In autonomous or manual mode, EnforceAir provides end-to-end detection and mitigation for situational awareness, operational continuity and safe controlled outcomes. EnforceAir detects, locates, and identifies rogue drones in protected airspace, neutralizes the threat by taking control over the drone and landing it safely in a predefined zone.
EnforceAir’s non-jamming, non-kinetic, no line of sight required technology avoids collateral damage, interference, disruption, and disturbance, thereby preserving communications and operational continuity.
EnforceAir distinguishes between authorized and unauthorized drones and is focused on the most dangerous and prevalent drones. With end-to-end C-UAS capabilities for any scenario, operators remain in control throughout the drone incident lifecycle.
EnforceAir’s seamless operational flexibility is reflected in multiuse deployment kits which enable tactical teams to rapidly switch between tactical, vehicular, stationary and backpack configurations.

What is counter-drone technology?
Counter-drone technology is technology used to eliminate rogue drone threats from a variety of different environments and situations. It can be used at military bases, airports, major events, borders, critical infrastructure, and commercial worksites. Most counter sUAS technologies use jamming technology which disrupts the frequency of the potential threat, but could also interfere with other trusted and essential communications in the area, or kinetic solutions which carry risks of collateral damage. D-Fend Solutions’ EnforceAir is different from others in the counter-UAS field, as it takes over control of the potential threat without jamming the frequency or kinetically shooting a projectile, then lands it in a safe zone.
Who can use counter-drone technology?
EnforceAir focuses on the most dangerous drone threats in the military, public safety, airport, prison, major event and critical infrastructure sectors. EnforceAir has been chosen as best-in-class and deployed by multiple top-tier U.S. and international governmental agencies – including military, federal law enforcement and homeland security units – as well as major international airports globally.
Who and what does counter-drone technology keep safe?
Counter-drone technology can be used in many sensitive and urban areas, which helps keep the public safe and maintain continuity. This technology can be deployed in urban and sensitive security environments, airports to protect commercial airspace, critical infrastructure, borders, prisons, and at large-scale event venues and sports stadiums. Counter-drone technology can also be used to protect government officials and other leaders, as well as the people that attend events with them.
How does D-Fend differ from other counter-drone technologies?
D-Fend and EnforceAir use non-jamming, non-kinetic technology to safely take over a rogue drone and land it in a designated safe area. Other counter-drone technologies jam the frequency of the drone, which can disrupt other public and private communications in the surrounding areas, like those used by broadcast radio, air traffic controllers, and airport ground handlers. EnforceAir is also non-kinetic, unlike other sUAS technologies, which use a physical projectile, which means it is safer to use in urban environments and with less risk of collateral damage when landing a drone.
