On May 1st, Nevo will celebrate his 2nd anniversary as part of the team at D-Fend Solutions. He is a registered drone operator who contributes more than five years of specialized drone experience to the company.
In school, Nevo focused on the scientific stream -- mathematics, physics, and computer science. Then, he served in the military, where he ultimately became responsible for the drone operations in his unit.
“During my military service, I managed a lot of equipment and handled logistics extensively. That experience has been invaluable here at D-Fend. I've also always had a knack for spreadsheets, and now, a substantial portion of my time is analytical.”
At D-Fend, Nevo manages the drone pilot team, coordinating the company's field activity with relevant stakeholders. He also ensures that both outdoor and indoor testing procedures run smoothly and efficiently (a task that involves a lot of logistics). He’s also in charge of managing and maintaining D-Fend's drone fleet.
“I love having a job where no two days are the same, facing new challenges every single day. I also thoroughly enjoy collaborating with people; a significant part of my job involves constant interaction with my colleagues in QA and development and with my team of talented drone pilots, who are absolutely the best!”
When he's not working, Nevo enjoys cooking and baking (all cuisines), reading -- mainly about science, politics, economics, and history, and swimming (when he can find the time). He also aims to complete his higher education and continue on a management-oriented career path while expanding his expertise in tech and leadership.
