EnforceAir2 Stationary Deployment Kit The challenges of safeguarding large, permanent installations and sites, such as critical infrastructures, stadiums, or government buildings, are especially difficult, as these venues are often located in complex and dense urban settings. To accommodate these settings and deployments that require 24/7 or long-duration tactical operations, EnforceAir2 can be easily pole-mounted, delivering high performance in low and high-altitude installations. D-Fend Solutions’ Stationary Kit can be either permanently installed or quickly and effortlessly disassembled and transported to another location for re-installation with full operational flexibility.
Before joining D-Fend Solutions full-time in 2023, Darren was a drone service provider.
“D-Fend EnforceAir’s innovative technology and capabilities triggered my interest, and I was very pleased to be given the opportunity, as the field of counter-UAS is exponentially expanding and I want to be continuously involved in it.”
Previously, Darren was a Police Officer for the Kingston Police in Ontario, Canada for 33 years, with extensive experience and background as a Canine Handler (six years), Tactical Officer Unit Commander (15 years), Patrol Division Sergeant, Training Unit Sergeant and Traffic Sergeant, where he had the opportunity to integrate drone technology into investigations. Darren was previously a fixed-wing pilot in civil aviation, with hundreds of hours of flight time.
As a Canadian Pre-Sales Representative for D-Fend, Darren is deeply involved in all aspects of sales, networking, demonstrations, and support, with unique opportunities to provide solutions for law enforcement and security missions. This strong support has opened doors for EnforceAir’s expansion to existing customers and new prospects in Canada in 2024.
“We bring a unique method of close interaction at demonstrations and presentations, where we share our backgrounds and experiences, and offer our clients a hands-on approach to our systems, which has to be very successful. Going forward, we see many opportunities in different sectors, including Law Enforcement, Critical Infrastructure, and more, where our prospective customers are eager to learn about EnforceAir2’s capabilities, particularly the new man-portable backpack deployment option.”
Darren studied Flight Engineering and Technology at Sault College of Applied Arts, and Criminal and Law Studies at Algonquin College. His hobbies include fitness training, wood carving, motorcycling, and guitar playing, in addition to traveling with his family.
