Fears of a drone colliding with a plane, or being used for a terror attack, have many airport security teams searching for suitable counter-drone technologies. Securing airports and controlling the risk of another drone-related closure, interruption or terror attack is crucial.
Some mitigation methods – such as jamming or kinetic – are not suitable for airports, as they may disrupt necessary navigation and communication systems or cause collateral damage.
International border surveillance and protection requires an effective and proven counter-drone solution to detect, track and take over unauthorized drones involved in smuggling contraband, human trafficking, or surveillance. Existing communication signals operating on the same frequency bands (Wi-Fi and point-to-point communications) could be adversely affected by some types of counter-drone measures.

The Long-Range Directional Deployment Kit is a stationary EnforceAir deployment configuration designed to provide long-range, directional counter-drone coverage across large areas such as airports and borders.
It is designed to support directional coverage for locations including border lines, airport approach and take-off corridors, and obstacle limitation surfaces (OLS).
The antenna provides 30°–60° azimuth coverage, depending on the RF band, and 30° elevation coverage.
Yes. The kit supports RF-based detection and identification of supported drones and can enable controlled mitigation through D-Fend Solutions’ RF Cyber-Takeover technology, where legally authorized.
Yes. The deployment kit is designed for demanding outdoor environments. Its components carry relevant IP and military-standard certifications, including IP65, IP66, IP67, MIL-STD-810H, and MIL-STD-461.
